Fred Harper's work explores bodies, machines and questions about what is natural. Each of his paintings is a process of discovery, where he arranges organic and inorganic, with no set conclusion and often disturbing results. His work is a commentary on the monsters cities leave behind. Harper's work has appeared in New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Week Magazine, Sports Illustrated, NY Observer, the windows for Hermes, and he's created the key art for Ozzfest.
