Swiss artist Eric Andersen combines different techniques, including letterpress, silkscreen, and woodcut, for his meticulously crafted works on paper. He undermines the classic qualities of the medium with provocative subject lines, taking a close look at today’s world. The subject of the miracle as something never to be achieved hovers as a positive driving force over this project, which links Zurich with New York and celebrates the spirit of Dadaism almost 100 years after its birth.
7PM: Opening performance by Alexandra Sachs
Sachs's performance enters into a dialogue with Andersen's work.
Working with the same subject, she will stage her own preparation for a miracle in a dadaistic interpretation.
