Edward Belbruno "Paintings of the Cosmos and Stellar Visions"
Gallery 61 NYIT
This event has ended.
An innovative thinker, Belbruno has devised remarkable solutions to space travel challenges, which he describes in his popular book, Fly Me to the Moon, published by Princeton University Press (2007). In this short easy read, Belbruno accessibly explains his alternative method of navigation, and truly excites anyone interested in the future of space travel.
A distinguished artist, mathematician and author, Dr. Belbruno joined NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena in 1985, where he developed a breakthrough approach to space travel by using chaos theory which was proven with the dramatic rescue of a Japanese lunar probe in 1991.
