The exhibition portrays various self-identities that are affected by socially constructed standards. The three artists express such standards of beauty and other stereotypes via fashion, buildings, and facial expressions with the hope of breaking the socially constructed boundaries. The exhibition enables its viewers to respect, understand, and accept various individuals’ beauty and uniqueness that cannot be interpreted through today’s standards of “beauty.”
