Albert Hadjiganev Exhibition
Axelle Fine Arts
This event has ended.
“One does not need to say too much to say it all” Such is Hadjiganev simple philosophy on life and the core of his work. With perfect technique and deep sensitivity, he freely transfigures reality to create a mysterious environment filled with grace. With harmony, loneliness of the soul and a peaceful nostalgia, Hadjiganev invites the viewer to meditate and dream.
Born in 1954 to a family of artists, Hadjiganev fantasized to become one. He studied photography in Sofia and was influenced by the work of his painter father and sculptor brother. His ultimate goal was to study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. At age 28, he left his native Bulgaria and walked across the border to eke out a hungry existence. By 87 his struggle paid off when he graduated from the prestigious school and his artistic career begun. He since received many awards including the coveted Grand Prix de Peinture of the Academie des Beaux-Arts and the “Prix du Gouvernement Princier” at the Salon International d’Art Contemporain in Monaco.
