The exhibition will consist of artwork done for the first five issues of Carrier Pigeon. We are excited and grateful that this publication has provided us the means to curate opportunities for our contributing artists, and to host events based on our shared goals and mission. We hope that you will help us celebrate the creative process of Carrier Pigeon, and support the many publications and collaborations still to come.
Carrier Pigeon is a magazine of illustrated fiction and fine art. By giving full creative control to the writers, artists, illustrators, and designers this magazine sets a new and uncharted standard for the successful merging of artistic disciplines. Refusal to compromise the artists’ visions or cater to current trends allows our international cadre of writers, designers and visual artists an environment in which to collaborate without any judgment passed. The main goal of this journal is to provide a magazine that itself is a piece of artwork. Each full-color issue showcases six fully illustrated works of short fiction spanning prose, monologue and verse formats, six fine-art portfolios, and an overall design that is individual to the issue.
