Elna Baker’s stories have appeared on This American Life, BBC Radio 4, The Moth, Studio 360, and at the UCB Theater. She's written for ELLE, Glamour and Five Dials Literary Journal. She's also the author of The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance (Penguin, 2009).
Jena Friedman is a stand up comedian, writer and actor based in NYC. Her work has appeared on NY Magazine, Gawker, The Huffington Post, Slate, Glamour, Comedy Central, etc. She performs all over the world and can be seen in the SXSW Music Festival in Austin this March and The Glasgow Comedy Festival in Scotland in April.
Aaron Garretson's short fiction has appeared in Opium Magazine, Night Train, and HermanoCerdo (in translation), among others. He was shortlisted for the Best American Nonrequired Reading 2009, and has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
Rick Meyerowitz was born in the Bronx. He migrated to Manhattan, and died of happiness. While alive, Rick was author of DRUNK STONED BRILLIANT DEAD: The Writers and Artists Who Made the National Lampoon Insanely Great. Nobody has come back from the dead yet, but Rick isn't some nobody. He's agreed to return and join our panel to discuss news from beyond the pale - wherever that is.
Todd Zuniga is the founding editor of Opium Magazine and the creator of Literary Death Match. He just wrote a novel that somehow ened up being 1,037 pages long. Based between Paris and couches all over the United States, he longs for a Chicago Cubs World Series and an EU passport
