The 21st century begins with man questioning his environment. From natural disasters, the evolution of the climate, and sprawling urban development, our relationship with our planet is rapidly changing. Through this series of abstract paintings I wanted to relay this universal thought, which springs from deep within all of us.
New York City perfectly illustrates this idea, thanks to actions of “planet NYC.” I want to believe that if the “capital of the world” would become the capital of the green world, we would be at the dawn of a new age.
Abstract painting enables me not to impose a way of thinking but to suggest a collective thought.
