Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs
This event has ended.
The work of this year's thesis exhibition embraces diverse creative techniques and strategies that range from photography and video to graphic design and sculpture and from the deeply personal to the broadly cultural. While much of the work presented in this exhibition utilizes various forms of digital technology, these processes are not means in and of themselves. Rather, for these artists, they are tools with which to better understand a complex an uncertain world or a lens thought which to attempt to comprehend our shifting concepts of the natural world and human interaction.
The opening reception will feature readings of poetry and fiction by English Department students Jordan Baum, Sarah Goncalves, and Steven Williams. The readings will begin at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 7.
Participating Art Students:
Julianne Allocco, Ashley Cerciello, Matthew DiBono, Rodney Hazard, Michael Montijo, Johana Munoz, Katrina Smith, Ackime Snow, and Allison Walters
