This event has ended.

Cravo Neto's subjects include portraits and torsos, frequently with the addition of animals or natural objects. Although most of his models were Brazilian, many of African heritage, Cravo Neto's corpus of work is wide-ranging, including, for example, portraits of the principals and associates of the Royal Danish Ballet, commissioned by the Frederiksborg Museum in Denmark as a pictorial essay in praise of dancing. These images also bear the imprint of "the son of a sculptor who became a sculptor." Throckmorton Fine Art takes pride in long being Mario Cravo Neto's New York representative. This homage to his work offers vintage photographs from the 1980's – 1990's.
