This event has ended.

"Gradual Rhapsody" is a reflection of Tun Sein’s focus on compositional and harmonious integrity in his abstract artworks. Viewing art as a pure aesthetic endeavor, Tun Sein uses his own sensibility, sense and intelligence with an aim to achieve coherent compositions proffering grace in a world that can be cluttered with unsatisfying objects and sounds.

Tun Sein derives inspiration from color and line, light and space through ruptured forms and surfaces he has seen and from sequences of insights gained through meditation or by chance.

George Tun Sein was born in Rangoon, Burma in 1958. He left Burma in 1968 and has lived in numerous countries in over three continents. Currently, George lives in New York City.
