This event has ended.

The exhibition presents experiments in abstraction by three emerging artists of roughly the same age. Born in the early nineteen eighties, Fekishazy, Feldman, and Mahler display casual yet complex and economical relationships to material and form. Through painting and sculpture, the exhibition explores three divergent practices anchored in an invented geometry.

Lacey Fekishazy is a Brooklyn based artist who earned her BFA from SUNY New Paltz and MFA from Queens College CUNY. She has been in numerous group shows in the greater New York area including Dorsky Gallery Curatorial Programs, Small Black Door, and Mass MoCA.

Amy Feldman has exhibited work in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Berlin. She received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from Rutgers University. She has been awarded fellowships from Virginia Commonwealth University, Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, New Jersey Council on the Arts, Yaddo, and the MacDowell Colony.

Matthew Mahler earned an undergraduate degree at Hofstra University and an MFA from Queens College CUNY. He is the recipient of numerous painting and sculpture awards and a member of the collaborative artist group, the Institute of Wishful Thinking. Mahler's work has been exhibited in New York, Portland, Maine, and many parts of Long Island.
