An exhibition of portraits by acclaimed photographers Linda and Jack Vartoogian, Seeing the Blues will feature Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, John Lee Hooker, Koko Taylor, Johnny Winter, and other blues greats as part of the Lowdown Hudson Blues Festival at the World Financial Center.
Blues fans will have the opportunity to stroll among 19 photographs taken by the couple, who over the course of three decades have captured a performing arts pantheon on film. Their work has appeared in The New York Times, Time, and Newsweek as well as numerous books.
