This event has ended.

Wolfgang Leidhold's paintings render the image of the knot in a modern context: a complex visual puzzle, like an encrypted computer code. Instead of depicting its functional purpose, as a fastening and binding method, he portrays the knot as the subject of his still-life paintings - a linear network of entanglement, with no beginning and no end. The know embraces the tension between order and disorder, the intentional construction of the form and its seemingly chaotic appearance.
