“Grassroots: Through the WU-mb” marks the birth of the legendary Wu-Tang brand in collaboration with Visual Arts in a gallery setting. For two decades, the Wu-Tang brand has dominated hip-hop culture with its raw street style known for its originality, and for the first time has put the music on mute to allow emerging Visual Artists' creative imagery that embodies the legendary Wu sound. Curators Derrick B. Harden, Oliver “Power” Grant and Laura O’Reilly, have chosen to showcase mixed mediums of art that form a commanding dialogue of distinct styles.
