This event has ended.

During November and December, the George Adams Gallery will exhibit 8 watercolors by Luis Cruz Azaceta. Born in Havana, Cuba in 1942, Azaceta moved with his family to New York City in 1960 and graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 1969. Much of his work from the late 1970s/early 1980s depicted scenes of inner city violence inspired by real-life events and artists such as Ensor and Maryan. Azaceta, who has lived and worked in New Orleans since 1992, was the subject of a one-man exhibition at the New Orleans Museum of Art earlier this year.
