The artist Fay Lansner (1921-2010) will be honored in a memorial exhibition at the Pen and the Brush Gallery in January 2011. A renowned figure in the art world for over 60 years, Lansner, whose influences include cubism, fauvism and abstract expressionism, explores her evolving identity through intensely colorful renderings of the feminine form in a variety of media including paint on canvas, tapestries, pastels and collages.
