This event has ended.

2010 B.C. is a group exhibit featuring 13 artists graduating from the M.F.A. Program. The exhibit’s curator is Siebren Versteeg, the famed multimedia artist. The class spent two years working with the college’s renowned faculty, including Vito Acconci, Archie Rand, Patricia Cronin and Jennifer McCoy. The works were selected from among the candidates’ most inspired efforts.

Maria Catalano Rand, the director of the college’s art gallery, said, “The exhibit manifests convergent philosophies that represent the wonderful demographic conglomerate that composes the Brooklyn College student body,” adding, “It’s an honor to present their work.”

Founded in 1930, Brooklyn College is one of the eleven senior colleges of the City University of New York. It ranked in the top ten nationally in Princeton Review's 2006 guidebook, America's Best Value Colleges. The four-year liberal arts college is located on a twenty-six-acre campus in the most dynamic New York City borough. The college enrolls more than 16,000 undergraduate and graduate students who are representative of the ethnic and cultural diversity of Brooklyn and New York City. Respected nationally for its rigorous academic standards, Brooklyn College takes pride in such innovative programs as its core curriculum and Honors Academy.
