BAG presents “CloseUp: Small Works.” The juried show was put as an open call to artists, asking them to explore the idea of a ‘close up’ in 12″ x 12″ x 12″ or less. The resulting show is a fascinating look at intimacy and detail, ranging from the totally abstract to the painstakingly real. Through photography, paint, pencil, sculpture, sound and even blood (well, photos of it), these artists share their vision in what it means to get close.
