Earlier this year, Wine was invited to Hunter College in New York, where he created most of the works in this exhibition. Wine incorporates discarded elements from the built world (as well as the partially-built world), simultaneously formulating a language of passionate exploration and fervently disseminating seeds of aesthetic jubilance.
Using comedic "Bizzaro World" imagery, Wine's art connotes a civilization evolving without rules. Working in a variety of media ranging from sculpture and drawing to video, Wine fabricates decadent surrealist forms while injecting a sensation of ambiguous texture and interior volume.
