RH Gallery presents Foolsgold Farm, an exhibition and auction benefit featuring 31 artists exploring the theme of farmed animals. The artworks will be sold by silent auction beginning on November 13th and will close on the evening of November 17th with a gallery reception from 6-9 pm at 137 Duane Street, New York, NY 10013. The proceeds of the auction will benefit the Farm Sanctuary.

Both emerging and established artists are featured in the exhibition/auction including: John Alexander, a New York based artist who has exhibited extensively around the world. In 2007 and 2008, a major retrospective of his work was shown at The Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston. Jean-Pierre Roy, also based in New York, is a professor at the New York Academy of Art and is included in several major collections such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Anita and Pujo Zabludowicz. The exhibition will also include a print from Henry Moore’s animal portfolio. Charlie Schultz and Erin Kornfeld will be operating a special photo booth created for the event.

Jones, Michael Kagan, Erin Kornfeld, Maria Kozak, Will Kurtz, Alex La Cruz, Francesco Longenecker, Tracy Langfitt, Christian Little, Charles Ly, Panni Malekzadeh, Fionn McCabb, Henry Moore, Kathryn Moran, Gary Murphy, John O’Reilly, Mike Schreiber, Charlie Schultz, Imogen Slater, Andy Smenos, Aimee Wilder, Kristjan Zaklynsky and Alexander Zaklynsky.

Founded by Brooklyn-based artists Shanan Campanaro and Maria Kozak, Foolsgold produces art exhibitions that both celebrate and raise funds to support the natural environment and its inhabitants. Farm Sanctuary, the beneficiary of the auction, was founded in 1986 and is the nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, and is committed to ending cruelty to farm animals while promoting compassionate living through rescue, education and advocacy. They have rescued thousands of animals and educated millions of people about their plight.
