Jack Walls "The Ebony Prick of the White Rose's Thorn"
Fuse Gallery
This event has ended.
Jack Walls’ handwritten lyrical prose piece “The Ebony Prick of the White Rose’s Thorn” will be on display at Fuse Gallery. A sprawling poem laid bare upon scores of sheets of Arches paper with a watercolor brush and scribed laboriously by Mr. Walls over the past two years. What Mr.Walls presents in “The Ebony Prick of the White Rose’s Thorn” is a surreal voyage through the darker recesses of the poetic jungle that is the sublime genius of the mind of Jack Walls. The prose piece, an epic swirl of hellish visions, disorderliness, and a brutal yet beautiful chronicle of a young nameless poet’s tragic blaze to ruin, is accompanied by sixteen found black and white pornographic images illustrating interracial homoerotic sex.
