This event has ended.

An exhibition about consumption and consequence. Presented by Salon Ciel.

Through "Get it," Salon Ciel curator Lyndsey Beutin links the potential and collapse of industry to the serenity and isolation of nature. The abstract art evokes a sense of uneasiness, loss, and silence, leading viewers to question themselves, “did I cause this?”

The exhibition features artists Andrew Baron, Matthew Conradt, Mark Masyga, Leah Oates, and Erik Sommer whose collage, photography, and painting make visitors feel like they are walking among the shifting debris of a deserted city. The pieces gently tumble over viewers like waves, leaving them to contemplate what has happened and what can be done. Each artist considers their environment differently, but when viewed collectively, this exhibition is a cautionary tale of the consequences of excess and overdevelopment; and a call to seize the possibilities abandoned things bring.
