+Kris Graves Projects announces Terlingua, the upcoming solo exhibition of photographer Caleb Jagger. Curated by Kris Graves
Caleb Jagger has spent the past three years photographing Terlingua, Texas; A mining district on the Mexican border on the Rio Grande. An area surrounded by desterted land and uncertainty, Jagger's photography is an essay on the people, the wildlife, and the culture of this border town.
Born in Austin, Texas, Jagger attended Temple University and has studied in Japan and New York. He currently lives and works in Southern Texas. In 2008, Jagger's Nature work won first place in the Prix de la Photographie Paris and his work has been exhibited at the Texas Photographic Society. This is his first New York solo exhibition.
