Scott Richter's new work reveals his continuing interest in paint as its own subject. His artful use of richly colored, thick pigment layers is evidence of the pure joy he finds in paint.
Scott Richter lives and works in Connecticut. HE has exhibited extensively since 1980, and has work in major private and public collections, including: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Walker Art Center, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
