This event has ended.

For more than 40 years during his lifetime, Stanley Boxer’s work was shown both in the US and abroad. He was a prolific artist, creating paintings, sculptures, constructions, works on paper, and prints, and his work is in the permanent collection of 25 American museums, including the Museum of Modern Art; the Whitney Museum; the Hirshhorn Museum; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Albright-Knox; the Tate Museum; as well as many other international museums.
Work of the 40s and 50s -- abstractions: Although Albers’ influence is obvious, Guy Danella was more interested in the importance of color interaction rather than the geometry of the composition.
