The New York Open Center is proud to present an exhibition of Lori Landau’s photography titled Elemental Soul: Impressionistic Photography that Brings Spirit to Light
Lori Landau’s diverse body of work explores the intimate connection between meditative and creative states. Through her painterly lens, nature manifests as a visual poem. Her photographs illuminate the impressionistic essence of water, trees, wind and the soul within. With a deep reverence for the natural world, Landau uses her camera to capture an instant of the enigmatic spirit of her surroundings. As a professional photographer, writer and artist, Landau has published poems and articles, and shown her art and photography in several group shows.
