The dutch artist Mitsy Groenendijk returns to New York with a beautiful exhibition of her monkey sculptures to show the New York audience.
The naturalistic production of the monkey sculptures is in contrast to the artistic context of their positioning into daily activities as a metaphor to mankind. This resemblance to human beings is not only coming from gestures the monkeys make, the clothes they wear or of what attributes they are surrounded. Furthermore the usage of artificial hair and eyes make the situation become alive.
