相 （PHASE) brings together three Chinese photographers whose outside disciplines bring unique angles to their work: a floral designer, a journalist, and an actor, each with an interest in specific aspects of nature and humanity that they explore through their shared media. In the spirit of the double meaning of “相,” as both a portrait or picture and a mutual relationship or influence, the work of these three artists offer images that suggest a dynamism and ambiguity behind the frame.
