"The collection of surrealism, pop art, illustration, collage, graphic design and mixed media of which Chelsea was included represents many of today's most boundary-pushing artists. Aspects of this collection are dark, at times macabre, but these images are complemented by arrestingly playful pieces".

While visiting some friends in Brooklyn not to long ago, I came across a showing of some Erotic Art by an eclectic artist named Tracy Von Becker. While viewing these detailed sexual pieces of art, all I could think about was my own sexual energy and how these pieces of art had immediately affected me.

Evan Levine's Looping Shapes and colors seem to gleefully borrow from outsider Art- Critics Pick Time Out New York March 25th- 30th 2010
Evan's describes his recent work as fluid shapes that are translated into graphic, flat sections of color yet they retain an organic flow that contrasts them sharply with the strict geometry of the horizontal or vertical bands in a graph.
