The secret life of the object tells the story of what is not seen. It may be true that the holes in our imagination are filled with precious metal, that silence is the sermon of the owls flight, that the eye of the peacock is as evil as it's flesh is incorruptible or that the soap of our cleansing is born of the rot of others. But then again it may not. Such are the mysteries that give body to our speculations, that allow the objects we take for granted to exist in the suspensions of our disbelief.
