Assemblage elevates mundane trash to heights undreamed of by the slinking dump rat. Under the artist’s direction fasteners of every sort become the strings that hold the universe together. In the artist’s eyes just stuff gets a freshen-up, elocution rises to aesthetics, and knowledge proves from nothing.
