This event has ended.

The Children’s Museum of the Arts brings its quality arts programming to children in New York City public schools, as well as providing parents with art services, teachers with professional development, and developmentally appropriate and innovative creative activities that support classroom curricula. Over a semester, or year-length duration, these partnerships expose students to professional art-making techniques and experiences, strengthening students’ confidence in art making and building community.

This exhibition features multimedia artwork by students attending PS 347 American Sign Language and English Lower School, PS 124 The Yung Wing School, PS 130 Hernando Desoto School, PS 3 Charrette School, Kings Collegiate Charter School, Williamsburg Collegiate Charter School, The Renaissance Charter School, Urban Assembly New York Harbor School, and School of the Future.

The show illustrates the students’ interpretation of master artists, techniques in sculpture making, and the art of stop-motion animation.
