The exhibition features drawings from 1976-2003 as a selective view across the career of an artist who lived and worked in New York up until his untimely death in 2007.
Regarded as "an artist's artist," Hurson challenged the traditions of the grand by working on an intimate scale. His drawings reveal an incorporation of everyday imagery and nuanced references to pop culture.
