This event has ended.

For the first time, installation artist, Joshua Kirsch, will mount his extraordinary work, Sympathetic Resonance, not on the floor, but on the walls. Viewers can watch and listen to Joshua play his instrument/artwork, then play it themselves!

Sympathetic Resonance utilizes the keys of a marimba to create four-and-a-half playable octaves. You play a touch-sensitive aluminum keyboard that triggers 56 different note-producing bars projecting outwards from floor to ceiling, creating a sound-spouting, porcupine-like chamber.
