Caspar Stracke and Gabriela Monroy return to DAF with an mind-blowing selection of contemporary video art from over 15 countries! Highlights include Pavel Medvedev's new found footage masterpiece ASCENSION (composed entirely out of Russian space program footage) and live projector performances by Sandra Gibson and Luis Reocder (NY) and Alex MacKenzie (Vancouver). On Sunday there will be a DVD release for the 40th anniversary of Experimental TV Center accompanied by a special program from Electronic Art Intermix, guest curated by Rebecca Cleman.
Don't miss the opening reception featuring a surprise performance and video installations by Kristin Lucas, Adam Leech, Hans op de Beek, Rimas Sakalauskas, Lara Kohl and David Krippendorff.
