Westbeth, the storied artists’ housing complex in the West Village, presents a free festival celebrating the 40th Anniversary of its opening as the first government financed, nonprofit housing project for artists in the US.
Artists from many disciplines will be offeringfree performances and exhibitions in the many venues of the Westbeth building. A two-day music festival in the tree-lined courtyard on October 2nd and 3rd will be a highlight of the festivities.
