If the beauty and natural forms of the majestic countryside could be captured upon canvas, these sublime shapes would make a very Great Indoors. While it is nearly impossible to recreate the awe and wonder nature enfolds around those who wander through it, this show strives to just that within the walls of this beautiful Brooklyn gallery. Through a vivd palette, this collection of brilliant new paintings captures the essence of the untamed landscape.

A student of impressionist painting, Jared will be exhibiting a large collection of recent landscapes. His work focuses on the elegance of some of our country's most inspiring natural wonders, from monumental ranges to marvelous old-growth. Working in an exuberant range of color, his work connects the viewer not only to the inherent beauty of the landscape, but also the tingling sensations of being enveloped by a moment of time in the wild. The paintings, while simple in their nature, are complex in their workings, and pay great homage to master impressionists before him.

Jared was born outside Orlando, Florida and has been moving ever since. He spent time in North Carolina followed by Upstate New York, then attended Skidmore College in 2004. After stints in Wyoming and Oregon, Jared moved to Brooklyn in late 2008. He's had works in numerous shows nationwide and hanging proudly in many personal collections.
