"Jeunes Talents 2010, French Impressions: New Photographic Perspectives" Exhibition

In the spirit of Robert Frank, these talented young American photographers — hailing from Los Angeles (Otis, ArtCenter, CalArts), New Orleans (Loyola) and New York (Parsons) — were offered all-expenses-paid, 10-day trips to one of six locations in France and given a free rein to capture the essence of contemporary French life. Their resulting work is a radical departure from the traditional imagery of France, and the 52 photos featured in the exhibit will give visitors a new take on the cities of Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Lille, Marseille and Toulon as well as on the island of Tahiti.
