Weis combines the rebellious elements of graffiti - the language of the urban landscape - with the refined aspects of pastoral landscape painting. In this particular show, she presents two large-scale paintings alongside a series of silkscreens. Her work represents the juxtaposition of our landscapes - rural and urban - engaging and communicating with each other. They are filled with intense, frenetic lines, saturated colors and cataclysmic energies.
