This event has ended.

The gallery is proud to announce it's first solo sculpture exhibition of the season with the work of mid-career artist, Robert Spinazzola's exhibition, "The Shifting Dream," one artist's 20 year exploration of the Middle Class's social and economic position. Premiering in this exhibit, "SAUVAGE LD. 2010, (Detroit Entre Deux Lacs)," and "SAUVAGE B.6 2010, (Senufo)," Mr. Spinazzola explores the social and economic minefield of the industrial Midwest that has recently made national headlines in the crushing economic juggernaut of recession and home foreclosures. "SAUVAGE LD. 2010" is a 84”' tall by 60” wide welded assemblage of machine parts that turn and rotate housed between two water tanks and piping representing Michigan lakes Erie and Huron. "SAUVAGE B.6" carries on the housing crisis theme with abstract house figures welded to the organic wings of an African influenced Senufo style bird. "SAUVAGE 1990, (Detroit, Ça Va)," with its running skeletal horse atop the machine base will also be displayed.
