AES Gallery presents "An Exhibition of Lady Paintings", a solo show of paintings and installations by Brooklyn-based artists Josana Blue. Drawing from her influences from fashion and the use of colors and line, Josana Blue creates works that are elegant, playful and very evocative: Even though her work traces back to the human form, her elongated shapes, bold colors and intense lines provide her works with a sense of abstraction and great intimacy.
