Alternative Press a.k.a. AP was started 25 years ago with the goal of being the definitive source for the underground music scene. From its early days as a four-page fold-over fanzine distributed at punk-rock shows, to the ambitious production values and international distribution it enjoys today, AP has been consistently on the forefront of breaking new artists. Beyond the magazine, AP has successfully expanded its brand through The AP Tour, Altpress.com, programs for national music tours, retail music guides and more. AP continues to offer fans insight into the latest trends and the hottest bands first.
