“You can’t die in the Sky” Exhibition

The work in the show references music, nature, youth culture, fashion, and politics. The show highlights each artist’s explorations in his or her chosen medium. Placing emphasis on a phsycadalic state of representation, often blurring the lines between reality and the magical state of a dream. The show intends to highlight each various mediums ability to cross-reference and inform the other, while simultaneously keeping unique to itself.
While these works in and of themselves create unique perceptions of reality, they all are intense investigations into the individual psyche of the artist’s perception of the world around them. The end result of “ You can’t die in the Sky” is not a definite, but an infinite. It’s a cluster of work that puts the viewer at odds with the fragmented prism of the world we live in today. It evokes and translates thoughts of the collective conscious of its makers.
