Maiko Ida was born in Saitama, Japan. Ida started drawing on the papers like back of calendar and notepad at very young age. The main motif of her creation has been people from that age to now. She prepare for enter the art university to become an artist, but she retired take the test because she wondered about education in Japanese university of art: Most entrance test takers spend for years to pass the exam and usually they will take the class that is unrelated to they had studied at all, and after graduate very few of them are able to contribute to society. She land a job as a programer. However she realised that her drawing skill saves her life forever in the situation, so she determined to be an artist again. After that, she exhibit on event and solo exhibition around Tokyo and Saitama. She is influenced by Isaku Yanaihara, Haruki Murakami, Takashi Murakami, Dostevsky and Keith jarrett.

Art is a sensation that impinge greatly on persons life and its prime example is 'love'. So best art is the creation(or artistic action) mast give people love, and it is expressed in sympathy. Ida says "person" is the most sympathetic motif of "person" and she draws aspects on people's face when their heart came out from inner to surface. The reason why most of people her draws don't have hair is: hair is likely to reflect person taste and fashion of the day than person's expression so it makes hard to be caught common feelings of people expression bitween all ages of all around the world.
