This event has ended.

In 2009, Konstantin Khudyakov, in collaboration with the art collective "Vitamin" launched the multimedia project "Art Multitouch", which reconfirms Khudyakov's reputation of a daring visionary. The artist fearlessly explores the groundbreaking three dimensional tools to reinvent the realm of the traditional photograph and collage. Thriving on a wide color gamut and accuracy of reproduction of the ultrachrome print, he produced a series of works that fuses his trademark painterly meticulousness, highly intellectual content and the application of novel technology.

For Angel's Eye Unexpected, 2009, Khudyakov revisits a classic masterpiece by the 19th century Russian painter Ilya Repin, Unexpected Return, depicting the return of an exiled revolutionary, who showed up without a warning, much to his family's surprise. In his modernized version, Khudyakov places the cyber-looking human figures inside the pupil of the angel's eye, against the backdrop of contrasting black-and-white squares and infinite droplets of of mercy that compose the image of God's messenger.
