A group exhibition of New York based artists: Christopher Ouellette, Grant Shaffer & Ulrich Fladl Carmona
Christopher Ouellette: The works being shown at La MaMa Galleria are a part of a recent exploration in watercolor, ink, and markers. Inspired by Science Textbooks, Religious Art & Iconography, I wanted to allow my subconscious to release among the abstract playgrounds concocted with equal amounts of planned and improvised draftsmanship. The result is a fun sea of detail and magnification.
Grant Shaffer: Grant's charcoal drawings at La MaMa Galleria are studies of a recurring dream he had many years ago.
Ulrich Fladl Carmona: Using pen, marker and collage elements, Ulrich has created stories on notebook paper in the shape of their characters.
