This event has ended.

Will Smith calls him ‘Picasso.’ Jerry Bruckheimer and Arnold Schwarzenegger introduced him to President Bill Clinton by saying “This is Robert Zuckerman, the best photographer I have ever worked with.” As a top photographer in the motion picture industry, Robert Zuckerman’s images have been featured in publicity for major movies, including “The Crow,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “Any Given Sunday,” “Training Day,” “Terminator 3,” and “Pursuit of Happyness.” His photographs were also included in publicity campaigns for television series including “The Shield,” “Rescue Me” and “Nip/Tuck.” And Zuckerman was invited to be the personal photographer for the family of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz.
With “Robert Zuckerman: TIME MACHINE,” 92nd Street Y presents an exhibit featuring another side of Zuckerman’s photography: images taken between 1976 and 1994 that explore the suburban American landscape, far away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
“TIME MACHINE is my version of being a kid in a candy store, in that I was connecting with, and to the degree and in the manner I was able, harnessing the magic and power of photography,” Zuckerman said. “Furthermore, the process of unvaulting, scanning, printing and reconnecting with these images after decades has been rich and empowering. It has confirmed for me the belief that when love, passion and good intention are put into creation, they will resonate and radiate from that which is created.”
