This event has ended.

The Lower East Side Printshop announces the summer group exhibition "Paper Scope," featuring artists currently in residence at the Printshop, the exhibition includes Golnar Adili, Joell Baxter, Erin Diebboll, Caleb Freese, Linda Plotkin, Ronny Quevedo, Nicolas Touron and Liz Zanis.

Curated by Hadley Planting, Junior Specialist, Impressionist & Modern Art, Christie’s, "Paper Scope" highlights a group of contemporary artists who examine the boundaries between printmaking and other mediums, such as sculpture, installation, and painting. Manipulating the flat sheet provides the artists with a new dimension on which to express multiple ideas in one creative object. As one moves through the gallery, one will see how the artists have transformed the print medium through folding, cutting and collage. This group of work addresses the overarching themes of landscape, identity and memory found within the greater context of contemporary art.
