"Asian Ink Masters" honors eight Asian ink masters who exemplify innovation and tradition in calligraphy and ink painting. These renowned artists include Wenda Gu, Qin Feng, Wang Dongling, Naoto Nakagawa, Ma Desheng, Huang Zhiyang, Qiu Zhijie, and the late C.C.Wang. While paying homage to the long tradition of calligraphy and landscape painting, this exhibition highlights a diverse group of Asian artists who are at the forefront of experimentation in ink painting. The show challenges the viewer to see the larger evolution and the most current developments in ink painting over the course of 25 years.
